Our History
Bruno Jehle founder of RISDT was moved by the plight of the who used to walk or cycle for 42 kms to Leprosy hospital at Bommuru to get merely dressing for ulcers, the help they get at the hospital would soon be lost and damaged due to long distance cycling.
Mr. Bruno was instrumental in starting this clinic at Kaleru to see that the patients get at least weekly dressing and basic drugs at their village itself. PEOPLES CLINIC was started in the hutment of a leprosy patient on 03 rd April 1983 at Kaleru Village.

Mission
- To provide medical care to persons affected by leprosy (PAL) and to extend moral support to them. To support the families and children of persons affected by leprosy (PAL), thereby facilitate overall betterment of the PALs.
- To provide medical aid and services for communicable diseases like TB & AIDS to the rural poor.
- To provide quality education to children of PALs, neglected and deserving rural poor children and thereby imroving the overall growth and prosperity of the region.
